In my ever-persistent pursuit of eating smarter without a sacrifice to flavor, my sweetheart Jennifer (she's capital 'W' Wonderful), bought me some more KETO tortilla-style chips to sample.
When it comes to snacks, I have a weakness for chips, but my favorite, Nacho Cheese Doritos is now a no-no. Not only is the carb count too high, but some of the ingredients in those chips are literally not good for the body.
Enter WonderSlim KETO Tortilla Style Chips, Spicy Nacho Flavor
Made with MCT oil which reportedly has fat-burning, appetite suppressing, and energy-boosting benefits, the chips pack 9 grams of protein per serving (traditional chips typically have around 2 grams), only 3 grams of net carbs, ZERO grams of sugar, and are gluten-free.
These chips are tasty. They have a nice crunch in a hybrid Cheetos Cheese Puff combined with tortilla-style chip kind of bite. The spicy nacho flavor is nice, with notes of onion, tomato, jalapeno peppers, and garlic. There was minimal chip breakage in the bag and they hold up well to dipping.
Of the KETO-friendly chips I've sampled so far (review links below), these stand above the others in all facets, flavor, texture, crunch factor.
Costing $12.99 for a box of 7, 1.13-ounce bags on Amazon, these chips are more reasonably priced than the competition I've sampled so far and taste better. That breaks down to about $1.85 per bag, which when it comes to KETO-friendly products, isn't bad. As stated in previous reviews, I'll post the repeat buy worthy chips once this KETO-Friendly Chip Review is complete.
