Chip Review: Proti Fit Spicy Nacho Cheese Chips

Proti Fit Spicy Nacho Cheese Chips
Nice crunch, nice spicy nacho cheese flavor

BachelorontheCheap.com

My girlfriend Jennifer, who is capital 'W' Wonderful, recently did some KETO-friendly grocery shopping, and one of the goodies she picked up was some Whisps Cheese Crisps, there's a link to that review below.

Another fun new product she picked up to try were Proti Fit Spicy Nacho Cheese Chips.

Here's the description from the Proti Fit website:

The Proti Fit spicy nacho cheese chips are the perfect snack for you!!  These great tasting chips are just what you have been looking for.  Dieting can be tough when you can't enjoy all the things you love, however with this great tasting spicy chip you can enjoy dieting!!  One bag of these chips is packed with 15 grams of great tasting protein, only 4 net carbs and 130 calories.

Proti Nacho Cheese Chips
These chips hold up to dip well and there was minimal breakage in the bottom of the bag.

These things are tasty!  They've got a great crunch, kind of a hybrid of a tortilla chip and a cheese puff bite.  The nacho cheese flavor is good, but what puts these chips over the top is the added spice, it's a nice little kick.  Of the KETO-friendly chips I've tried so far, these have the best overall flavor.  The chips are also packed with protein with 15 grams per serving, there's only 1 gram of sugar and just 10 carb grams - a net of 4 carb grams per the product description.  Technically, these are what some might call "Dirty KETO", because they have a non-KETO approved ingredient, potato starch.

Costing about $20 on Amazon for a box of seven 1.27-ounce bags, I'm giving the Proti Fit Spicy Nacho Cheese Chips 4 out of 5 Bachelor on the Cheap Stars.  They've got a good crunch, good nacho cheese flavor, and a nice little extra spice kick.  As far as a chip snack goes, with the high protein count, these hold off hunger longer than a regular chip and don't have near the carbs.  The only thing holding these chips back from being rated 5 stars is the price, which breaks down to about $2.85 per bag.  That's on the high end of KETO-friendly chip snacks even if "Dirty KETO."  Jennifer and I will be sampling more KETO-friendly chips before deeming this one worthy of being a repeat buy.

$pend Wisely My Friends...
